a few weeks ago, i had the opportunity to work with derek taylor, an artist living in tennessee, but hailing from our own albany, ga. derek is an out-of-the-box kind of guy and these pics were for his – get this – upcoming art show, “canines, kilts & chili dogs”! this show will feature derek’s paintings depicting hunting dogs. derek also has been known to don a kilt now and then, annnnnd…. there will be a chili dog tasting as part of the art show. so there ya have it! canines, kilts & chili dogs is march 20th at 7p in the lancaster village in albany. thanks derek, it was fun!!
this pic is used in derek’s ad for his show, and he posted it on his fb page… i saw a friend’s response – “i knew you had a sophisticated pallet, but 15 of them?” cracked me up!
in the pic on the left below, you can see the belt buckle that derek’s friend made.
