i also got to meet laura and rob’s insanely adorable little red-headed angel montgomery. HE IS ADORABLE. pics to back me up are below. laura and rob were such a fun couple to work with. their wedding was cozy and intimate and cafe 230 was really the perfect venue for them! i felt like their style and smitten’s style were just the perfect match. congrats guys!

when: saturday, january 21, 2012. 10a-5p(ish)

where: the albany museum of art.  311 meadowlark drive, albany ga 31707.

the cost: $150

what’s included: workshop, lunch, and a shoot with smitten.

deadline to sign up: there’s no deadline really, but we only take 10 participants and a few of those spots are already filled. tuition goes up to $175 on january 7th if any spots are still available.

who this class is best suited to: beginners, intermediate photographers.

some of the stuff we will cover: the components of exposure, and how to use them creatively. metering, tonal range, histogram. shooting manual. focus. composition. gear. light. shooting raw. art. working with kids. we will briefly touch on post production.

but the bottom line is, this class is FUN and you’re guaranteed to learn a lot!
